You are cordially invited to UNFINISHED, a show and celebration of the graduation of the MA Practice Held in Common of ArtEZ University of the Arts. Inner Garden, Alya Hessy, 2020
Inner Garden is a tactile media installation offering a space for contemplation and an invitation to slow down and connect to our body as a warm home for our mind and soul. The visitors are invited to explore the Inner Garden space and join one of the body awareness sessions, which will be offered throughout the exhibition.
To be in touch means to stay connected. To stay connected allows us to feel a part of the whole. Being a part of the whole allows us to discover more about ourselves, to develop, grow and feel more in touch with our humanity. A carefree touch has become scarce due to the current global pandemic. However, there are no limits to being in touch with ourselves. With her tactile embodied approach Hessy seeks to tap into spaces of resonance, where you can get in touch with your own possibilities, delicate complexity and beauty.
